In the Amazon Jungle, doctors and medical facilities are rare. In the Tahuayo Conservation Region there is currently one healthpost and one doctor in the village of Eseranza. A healthpost is the closest thing to a hospital in the Jungle. We are excited to be in the final stages of raising the last 15k to build another healthpost located in El Chino.
Every year we raise funds for an end of the year celebration. We started with just one community and now reach over 150 families. This celebration creates a space for people to gather and spend time playing games. Every child receives gifts and friendships are grown.
We aim to find ways to help cultivate education and the bright minds of the children in the Amazon Jungle. By helping buy school supplies and ensuring that they are hand delivered to the children themselves, we support them in a small but impactful way.
